AFOUDA SAMUEL is a multifaceted professional, blending a background in law with a dynamic career in media. He began his media journey as a stand-up comedian, gaining early recognition through radio appearances, which eventually led to him hosting his own weekly comedy show. His natural progression into the broader media landscape saw him move from being a guest on radio shows to becoming a stringer, presenting a variety of programs. Over time, his growing expertise and passion for the media industry led him to secure full-time roles as a presenter and producer, where he was able to gain a deep, hands-on understanding of the intricacies of both the business and creative sides of media.

As his career advanced, Afouda’s mastery of media production and brand management became evident. His ability to critically analyze and understand the evolving media environment helped him grow into the role of Brand Curator at one of Ibadan’s leading radio stations, 32FM 94.9, where he played a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the station’s brand identity and visibility. He has always been driven by a keen sense of strategy and an entrepreneurial spirit, which led him to step down from his position at 32FM to focus on his own venture, Primus Media City. As the MD and CEO of Primus Media City, he has cultivated a space where his wealth of experience in media and branding is harnessed to create innovative solutions for clients.

In addition to his media expertise, Afouda holds a law degree (LLB) from the University of Ibadan and a BL from the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, making him a rare combination of a legal mind and media strategist. His professional journey includes significant roles at prominent radio stations in Ibadan, such as Splash 105.5FM, Diamond 101.1FM, Space 90.1FM, Lagelu 96.7FM, and 32FM 94.9, where he has excelled as a presenter, producer, and brand curator.

He is an accomplished author with three books to his credit, a trainer and a Mediapreneur. Through his media centric brand, Primus Media City, he serves as the convener of Primus Media Conference and the Chief Host of Primus Media Awards for young Broadcasters in South west, Nigeria. Afouda is married to Bisoye and they are blessed with adorable daughters.
